Pretty in Purple Days is a national month of pampering and awareness to prevent domestic abuse and bring hope, healing and happiness to children orphaned by domestic violence.
Salon and spa professionals across the U.S. are graciously hosting Pretty in Purple Days in their communities throughout the month of May.
HOW IT WORKS:
1. Participating host salons and spas select a date in May to host a Pretty in Purple Day.
2. Guests book their appointment and enjoy a day of pampering to raise awareness to prevent domestic abuse and help children orphaned by domestic violence.
3. Participating salons/spas donate $5 or 25% from every Pretty in Purple Day service to the Purple Ribbon Council for the Purple Ribbon Fund for Children.
4. Together, we build a strength in numbers campaign to Break the Silence, Break the Cycle, Save Lives!
Purple Ribbon Council is a 501 (c) (3) charitable community benefit organization. Donations can be made by:
1. Clicking on a Pretty in Purple Day above to donate online.
2. Dropping off a donation check to your local Pretty in Purple Day host salon/spa. Checks are made payable to "Purple Ribbon Council."
3. Mailing a check made payable to "Purple Ribbon Council" to Purple Ribbon Fund for Children, 20403 N. Lake Pleasant Road, Suite 117-492, Peoria, AZ, 85382
You do not need a ticket to attend a Pretty in Purple Day. Simply call the host salon and spa nearest you and book your appointment for their designated Pretty in Purple Day this MAY!

Founded in August 2006, Purple Ribbon Council’s mission is to raise awareness and engage everyday people in the prevention of domestic abuse.
We meet this mission through community engagement, prevention education and training, restorative interventions, and cause marketing partnerships that Break the Silence, Break the Cycle, Save Lives.
Purple Ribbon Council’s programs and services complement existing institutional prevention methods by going deep into communities to leverage front-line “natural helpers” in grassroots prevention, advocacy and outreach that supports, benefits and empowers the most silent victims such as those who do not seek shelter and children orphaned by domestic violence.
